Installing Herringbone and Parquet Style Steller Floors (Wall-to-Wall)

Herringbone patterns that spread for more than 4' wide should utilize our expansion clip for recommended stability. This option accommodates local expansion and contraction with changes due to humidity.

The assembly process is much easier for herringbone because each board is identical. Each clip extends down the side of one plank and across the end of the abutting perpendicular plank as shown. This pattern repeats down each row.

Here's a video about how we installed 1400 sqft of Steller Herringbone in Tahoe Walnut in one day. Fit and finish along the walls required another 8 hours due to wall complexity, which could be eliminated by certain layouts.
